Bio.

Shelley Quartermaine is an Australian actress and singer-songwriter based in the United States, working across film and music.

She gained international recognition starring as the lead in the feature film 1 Million Followers, released theatrically and distributed worldwide on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV following a global casting search.

Raised on a remote sheep and cropping farm in rural Western Australia, her early life was shaped by isolation, independence, and imagination. With no clear pathway into the industry, she began creating her own - teaching herself guitar as a child and performing from a young age, long before stepping onto a film set.

Alongside her work on screen, she writes and releases original music, with songs including Run to the Moon and The Stand reaching listeners in over 100 countries. Her sound is rooted in stripped-back, emotionally driven storytelling.

Now working internationally, she moves between film and music, building a body of work that sits between the two rather than choosing one.
